What you get with Neo4j
Graph or grid
View a result as nodes and relationships, or as rows.
Named parameters
Keep values out of your query in a JSON parameters field.
Examples to learn from
Traversals, optional relationships, bounded paths, explain and constraints.
Read-only protection
Write clauses and ambiguous procedures are blocked before they’re sent.
A live schema
Labels, relationship types, property keys, indexes, constraints, procedures and functions.
Careful with writes
Lost responses aren’t retried automatically, because a write may already have landed.
Example
MATCH (n:Customer)
WHERE n.country = $country
RETURN n
LIMIT 25;
Free and Pro
Connections, the explorer, the query editor, autocomplete, results and export are in the Free plan. Pro adds saved workspaces, searchable history, visual builders, guided import, data migration, health diagnostics and the AI assistant, where Neo4j supports them. Compare plans.
Good to know
- This provider is a preview.
- Results show up to 200 rows, so add LIMIT and selective filters to costly queries.
- It connects to a single server through the Query API. bolt:// and neo4j:// addresses aren’t used, and cluster routing isn’t supported.
- We added this provider recently, and our full release testing is still under way. If something doesn’t work as expected, please tell us.
